Opportunity:
Walmart Financial Services previously had limited product information available for Walmart customers. Overall, customer awareness of Walmart Financial Services and its products and services was very low.
Insights:
Walmart opened MoneyCenters in many of their stores to showcase and give customers easy access to their financial products. The intent was also to promote their financial services in non-Money Center stores by displaying Money Services brochures and information for the entire product suite. To drive the most sales at an efficient cost level, Heinrich created a templatized, grid-based brochure solution.
Execution:
The brochures were designed to:
- Increase awareness, purchase and usage of the WFS products by providing accessible, engaging financial services product information to Walmart customers in-store, both as stand-alone vehicles and within the MoneyCenters.
- Create content for a portfolio of brochures with a cohesive look and feel to increase customer and associate awareness of WFS products and services, as well as increase opportunities for cross-promoting and cross-selling those products and services.
- Fit well within the Walmart environment — straightforward, down to earth, welcoming, smart — and utilize icons to illustrate how easy it is for customers to use Walmart Financial Services. The brochure design also fit cohesively within the Walmart MoneyCenter-branded environment.
- Show Walmart customers that Walmart Financial Services has a range of services that fulfill the Walmart existing brand promise.
- Maximize efficiencies in production, distribution and servicing.
